WEEK 1 - Introduction to Field Practical and FPA150

      First and foremost, this is my very first post for this blog. I will be sharing to you guys about the activities that we did every Friday for FPA150. Our day was started with a fitness routine in the early morning at about 6.20 a.m. After our fitness routine, we were introduced to our Planters Executive (PE) in charge for each class, The Planters Executive in charge for my class is Tuan Firdaus Haqimi. The PE's also remind us about what to do and what to not do in the field.     On the 6th September of 2019, the batch of G10 gathered at the Agrotech assembly point for our weekly roll-call. We were introduced to the Head Centre of Studies for the Diploma Program, Dr. Nuraini Mohd Noor.     The Head Centre of Studies, Dr. Nuraini Mohd Noor gave us a speech about course registration to all parts and remind us some important dates that we need to remember. After that, we were introduced to our lecturers in charge which is Madam Siti Sarah for class A and Madam Mariam Nabi

WEEK 9 - CLEANING UP THE GREENHOUSE

       Hey guys, we are currently on the 9th week for our field work and it's been quite a long week to to get to here. Anyway, for this week, our activity were to clean up the greenhouse.         Our morning on the 8th November started with slightly raining which our morning roll call were held at the farmfactory. We started with the recital of surah Yasin, sang the Negaraku, UiTM Dihatiku and sang the Planter's Song. Our presenter for this week was Muhammad Iqmal from Class B. Iqmal gave a talk about current issues in Malaysia's Palm Oil        After each part gave their talk, that concluded our morning roll call and PE for each class taking in charge for us. Then, Madam Sarah instruct us to go to the greenhouse to do some cleaning there. At the greenhouse, we started our activity by doing weeding in the greenhouse and cleaning up the moss that has been piled up. WEEK 8 - GRAFTING, STEM CUTTING & TRANSPLANTING

       Hey guys! It's another week for field work in our 8th week. For this week activity, I'll be sharing about grafting, stem cutting and transplanting for chilli tree.        For this week, we don't have a morning roll call as it was only our part that conduct activities during this week. Our activities started at 8.00 a.m. that was in charge by Madam Sarah. Madam Sarah gave a brief about the activities that we will be conducted for the week. Madam Sarah demonstrated how to do Grafting        Grafting is an act of placing a portion of one plant (bud or scion) into or on a stem, root or branch of another (rootstock) in such a way that a union will be formed and the partners will continue to grow.        We started our grafting activity by searching the bougainvillea  tree to cut a different colour of their flower to another. WEEK 7 - PLANT PROPAGATION

       Hey guys, we are now in on the 7th week of my field work and today I will share my activities which is Plant Propagation. Plant Propagation is a process of creating new plants from existing ones. Without further ado, let's get into it!        On morning of 18th October, we gathered at our roll call around 6:40 a.m. Our morning roll call was started with the recital of Surah al-Kahfi and sang the Negaraku, UiTM  Dihatiku and the Planter's Song. The presenter for our batch this week was Nik Zafarihah from Class A. Nik Zafarihah gave a talk about current issues in agriculture         After each part gave their morning talk, our roll call continued with the event called "Go Green". That faculty has invited a guest from Malacca State Department of Agriculture, Miss Nur Hafizah Bt Mohd Zain, and honorable Dean, Associate Professor Dr.Asmah Awal for officiating this event. WEEK 5 - SEED SOWING

       Greetings my fellow planters and readers! It's already the fifth week of our field work and for this week we have another activities that might pique your interest which will called seed sowing.        On the 4th October of 2019, as usual our morning started by gathering at the Agrotech site for weekly roll-call. After the recital of surah Al-Kahfi and finished sang the Negaraku, UiTM Dihatiku and the Planter's Song, representative by each Part gave their morning talk. Our representative for this week is Nur Fadhilah from class B. With the morning talk to ended our weekly roll-call, we proceed to the Nursery for our field work. WEEK 4 - SOIL MIXTURE AND LAND CLEARING

       Another Friday has came and this week I have another interesting thing to share about to make up last week activity that being held up due to haze. In this week, the activity that been held are Soil Mixture and Land Clearing.        On the 27th September of 2019 morning, as usual we gathered at our roll-call around 6.30 a.m for our morning fitness and headed to the Agrotech assembly point for our weekly roll-call. After the recital of Surah Yasin and sang the Negaraku, UiTM Dihatiku and the Planter's Song, we had our morning talk by each Part and this week Presentative for our Part is Muhammad Nazif from class A. After the weekly roll-call has ended, we were brought to the Nursery part of Sharefarm. Nazif gave his morning talk of Palm Oil.        The lecturer in charge, Madam Sarah briefed us about the tools and equipment that we will used for soil mixture activity. WEEK 3 - BLENDED LEARNING (i-Learn)

       Hello and good day! It's another Friday but this week I won't post any fieldwork activities. The reason? It is because the haze in our campus are in unhealthy status that prevent us in doing outdoor activities. But this week I will be sharing about our task given in UiTM i-Learn which are called The Blended Learning.         Firstly, I'll inform you guys first that this week post will be short as there are not many to share about since Blended Learning are just an assignment given by lecturers online in the UiTM student i-Learn. WEEK 2 - GOING GREEN CAMPUS CAMPAIGN

       It's another friday and this is the second week of our FPA150. For this week we have an interesting event that has been held that I will be sharing. Without further ado, let us check it out !        On the 13th September of 2019 morning, as usual we gathered at our roll-call around 7 a.m and headed to the Agrotech assembly point for our weekly roll-call.
